Lots of people and organisations do. Excellerate is a 100% New Zealand business that's been around for more than a decade. What we dont do is run generic off the shelf public training courses. We do work with leaders, teams and employees to build their knowledge and skills through highly customised, focused training and development programmes. Professional Development through Workplace Coaching
We provide professional coaching to develop individual competence, confidence and capactity in specific competencies. While this involves skill building and developing new ways of thinking we also help individuals, leaders and teams to assess, design and implement systems and processes to improve results. They do the work but we're right there beside them helping them to figure out what needs to be done and the best way to do this. | Professional Coaching

Instructional Design
We also work with HR, T&D personnel and Subject Matter Experts to help them design and deliver internal programmes and courses. We develop the resources and provide coaching so they can deliver the programmes successfully themselves | Instructional Design

We provide fanatical support and freely share our expertise too so you're not only successful but you continue to build your in-house capability. Excellerate Director, Course Leader, Consultant and Coach

I'm the founder and principal of Excellerate Performance. I grew up in a close knit farming community in the Waikato where a wildly enthusiastic student teacher transformed my world. She ignited an insatiable curiosity, a passion for learning and determined what would be the direction of my life. Following in her footsteps I embarked on my own journey as a teacher however I soon came to the painful realisation that I was at risk of turning into a boringly ordinary one. That's when I decided that a short stint in the military would provide the life experience so vital to becoming the kind of teacher who had inspired me.

That short stint grew into more than a decade of service with the NZ Army. I worked with some incredible people, enjoyed and endured some amazing experiences, and thanks to the patience and mentorship of some outstanding leaders I progressed through the ranks and graduated as a senior leader too. Following my commendation for outstanding military service I returned to civilian life and began the next phase of my career.

I moved into Human Resources and worked with several iconic NZ organisations where I progressed through the ranks into senior management roles. Over the course of that decade I was mentored by some astute business leaders while I collaborated with employees and union representatives on progressive performance improvement initiatives and award winning training programmes.

These are the people and the experiences that have influenced my life and the philosophy that defines the company I chose to call Excellerate. We are proudly Kiwi, passionate about making a difference and deeply committed to empowering leaders, teams and professionals to excel in their field.
