The Excellerate Leadership Development Programme
Excellerate's Leadership Courses can be adapted to meet your needs or customised modules can be delivered - as short onsite workshops, one - three day courses or as a comprehensive programme of longer duration.
Feedback First This programme involves 360 feedback using the Leadership competencies from Excellerates Leadership Framework. These competenices are linked to seven leadership roles, which in turn are aligned to 6 areas of performance. Very simply these competencies describe the desired leadership performance and context i.e What, Why and How well.
The competencies also provide the basis for the Leadership learning needs analysis which identifties a leader's strengths and development needs. This information enables:
Targetted and prioritised development for individual leaders and/or groups of leaders
Focussed coaching and customised training design as well as more informed selection of public courses
Significantly improved results at a personal and organisational level
Leadership Learning and Development Following the 360 feedback and personal planning process, Leaders undertake formal learning to assist with the acquistion of the appropriate knowledge and skills. Leadership models, principles, techniques, tools and strategies are introduced and practised through action based learning which can incorporate any combination of lecture, group discussions, self directed activities, work based projects and experiential exercises with observation and feedback.
Making the Transition to Team Leader This is introductory course focuses on the core leadership and management skills to help new supervisors with the challenging transition from team member to team leader. It introduces the fundamentals of motivation, communication, time and priority management, team building, developing employees, managing performance and dealing with difficult employees. It can be run as a 3 day course or as series of 1 day workshops
